The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia Valeriy Bganba on behalf of his colleagues congratulated the editorial staff of the newspaper "Apsny" on the 96th anniversary of the publication of the first issue of the newspaper.
The letter addressed to the chief editor of "Apsny" Vladimir Kapba, emphasizes the role of newspapers in the formation and development of the Abkhaz journalism and strengthening of national consciousness of the Abkhazian people.
Valeriy Bganba noted that February 27th is an important historical date for Journalists of Abkhazia, and for all the people, and this day may truly be considered as the Day of the media of the Republic of Abkhazia.
