Restrictive measures related to coronavirus are extended until August 4

Relevant changes have been made to the order "On certain measures to protect the health of the population of the Republic of Abkhazia from the new coronavirus infection COVID-19."

 Sukhum. July 28, 2020. Apsnypress. Based on decision of Coordination Headquarters for Protection of Population from COVID-19 Coronavirus Infection dated July 27, 2020, previously introduced restrictive measures were extended.

In accordance with changes made to the Order "On certain measures to protect the health of the population of the Republic of Abkhazia from the new coronavirus infection COVID-19", until August 4, 2020, entry into the Republic of Abkhazia through checkpoints on the Abkhaz-Russian state border by foreign citizens and stateless persons is limited, except for:

1) employees of diplomatic institutions of foreign states accredited in the Republic of Abkhazia, servicemen of the Border Directorate of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Abkhazia, the United Russian military base;
2) drivers of vehicles engaged in international freight transport;
3) drivers of freight trains;
4) foreign citizens and stateless persons once entering the Republic of Abkhazia to close relatives living in the Republic of Abkhazia (spouses, parents, children, adoptive parents, adopted children, siblings, grandfathers, grandmothers, grandchildren), guardians and trustees who are citizens Of the Republic of Abkhazia either being foreign citizens permanently or temporarily residing legally in the Republic of Abkhazia, subject to presentation of:
- valid documents proving their identity and recognized by the Republic of Abkhazia in this capacity, and visas or in a visa-free manner in cases stipulated by international treaties of the Republic of Abkhazia and Decrees of President of the Republic of Abkhazia;
- documents (copies of documents) confirming the degree of relationship (establishment of guardianship);
- copies of documents confirming temporary or permanent residence of foreign citizens and stateless persons on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia.
