Government of the Republic of Abkhazia in 2015 established the following categories of citizens entitled to compensation for the contributions made to the Savings Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia until 14 August 1992, and have been registered from 1st April 2003 to 20th January 2004.
These categories include:
- citizens born before 1960 (inclusive);
- Families of those killed in the War of Abkhazia in 1992-1993;
- Participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and their heirs;
- Disabled of the War of Abkhazia in 1992-1993 and their heirs;
- Heirs of citizens born before 1950 (inclusive).
Acceptance of applications from citizens who are entitled to receive compensation in 2015, will be carried out in the administrations of districts of the Republic of Abkhazia and the city in Sukhum.
