A lot of achievements of the young state depend on the quality of the everyday work of the prosecutors - RA Prosecutor General

Sukhum. April 15. Apsnypress. On the day of the 21st anniversary of the establishment of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Abkhazia at the solemn meeting devoted to the holiday date,  RA Prosecutor General Alexey Lomiya, Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya, representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Ministry of Defense, the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Federal District of Russia, service veterans  congratulated agency workers . Prior to the event participants of the meeting laid a wreath at the Memorial Park of Glory in Sukhum. 

"In the past year, the multinational people of Abkhazia has passed the test of political maturity. An extraordinary presidential election - said in his welcoming speech RA Prosecutor General Alexey Lomiya. - In this period the Prosecutor's Office more than ever requires maximum of the efforts to achieve a particular social outcome, a real impact on the quality of state and municipal government, law enforcement and, as a result, to improve the lives of citizens". According to him, many of the achievements of the young state depend on the quality of the everyday work of prosecutors, the formation of a true civil society which can not be built without an effective fight against crime, corruption and education in society  the respect for the law, the overcome the legal nihilism".

Congratulating the employees of the Prosecutor's Office, Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya said: "We are faced with important tasks to further improve governance and reform of the country's deepest and structural transformation of government. In this case, the transformation should not be a form of "company", we must strictly enforce the laws and the rights of the people. The reform is not an end itself, but achieving the results" .

At the ceremonial meeting distinguished prosecutor's officers have been assigned the next class ranks, awarded badges  the "Distinguished Service", "Honored Worker of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Abkhazia" and diplomas of the RA Prosecutor General. In addition, for "substantial assistance and competent operative support in solving crimes", the ceremony of awarding medals of the Republic of Abkhazia "for the interaction".
