The Russian Foreign Ministry hosted Russian-Abkhaz consultations.
Sukhum. September 21. Apsnypress. Regular consultations were held within the framework of the mechanism for foreign policy coordination established by the Memorandum between the Foreign Ministries of Russia and Abkhazia on March 11, 2015. The press service of the Embassy of Abkhazia in Russia reported.
They were attended by Director of the Fourth CIS Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexey Pavlovsky and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba.
A wide range of issues of bilateral relations were discussed, including: strengthening and further development of cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the subjects of the Russian Federation; further strengthening and promotion of the international positions of Abkhazia, as well as the situation in the region.
The practice of regular mutual information and consultations will be continued.
