Abkhaz delegation takes part at the conference “Crimea in modern geopolitics. 5 years of Crimean spring "

The conference opened at the press center of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Sukhum. 21 March. Apsnypress. The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia takes part in the work of the international conference “Crimea in modern geopolitics. 5 years of Crimean Spring ", which takes place in the press center of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

First Deputy Prime Minister Daur Arshba read out the welcoming speech of President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba to the participants of the conference: “Returning mentally to the fateful days for the Crimea, Sevastopol and all Russia, we cannot but remember how deeply worried and anxious the Abkhaz citizens followed the tense situation in the fraternal Black Sea republic. Today, the Republic of Crimea, being a part of Russia, successfully overcomes economic difficulties, restores social infrastructure, develops science, culture, and tourism. In recent years, relations between Abkhazia and the Crimea have reached a qualitatively new level. A new impetus to relations is given by the Agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation signed on April 15, 2016 within the framework of the Yalta International Economic Forum. Investment projects within the framework of the activities of the intergovernmental commission receive worthy support; there is an intensive exchange of industrial experience between individual enterprises of Crimea and Abkhazia. I am sure that in the coming years our resorts will be reliably connected by sea. A solid foundation is laid for fruitful cooperation of writers, artists and other cultural figures. "

Permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation, Georgy Muradov, handed Raul Khadzhimba an invitation from head of the Crimea to the Yalta Forum.
