Abkhaz delegation takes part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum-2019

There was held a meeting of Prime Minister of Abkhazia Valeriy Bganba with Minister of the Russian Federation for the Affairs of the North Caucasus Sergey Chebotaryov.

Sukhum. June 7th. Apsnypress. The Abkhaz delegation headed by Prime Minister Valery Bganba, at the invitation of the organizers, takes part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.  

On the first day of the Forum, representatives of the delegation visited the pavilion of the Krasnodar Territory and got acquainted with wine products of Kuban, presented at the exhibition.
 
 Abkhaz delegates took part in the business program, became guests of the strategic session “Russian Wine: Seriously Now!”
 
 The session's speakers discussed the prospects for development of domestic winemaking and the creation of a unique and recognizable Russian brand in this industry.
 
 At the end of the business program, Valery Bganba and the Governor of Krasnodar Region, Veniamin Kondratyev, exchanged memorable gifts. 
 
 In addition, Valeriy Bganba met with Sergey Chebotarev, Minister of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus Affairs.
 
 The parties discussed formation of a future Investment Program to promote the socio-economic development of the Republic of Abkhazia for 2020-2022, which they plan to approve at the upcoming eighteenth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Socio-Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia.
 
 Also, Valery Bganba and Sergey Chebotaryov discussed the stages of implementation of the decisions  of the MPK and control over the targeted use of funds of current financial assistance.
