Sukhum. May 30. Apsnypress. The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia under the leadership of Minister of Culture and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage Elvira Arsaliya took part in the 21st International Festival "Intermuseum-2019" in the Central Exhibition Hall of Moscow "Manege".
Dmitry Gulia Literary-Memorial Museum became a participant of the festival.
As Elvira Arsalia noted, Intermuseum is the largest museum forum in the world where professionals from different countries meet. Not the first year Abkhazia has been participating in the Intermuseum within the framework of the cooperation plan between the RAMC and the RFMC. The theme of today's pavilion of the D. Gulia Literary and Memorial Museum is a cultural connection between Abkhazian and Russian writers in the 20th century.
Minister of Culture expressed confidence that the new contacts, communication, work in the professional community of the museum staff during the days of Intermuseum will positively affect the development of the museum’s international activities.
The festival "Intermuseum" will last until June 2.
