President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba expressed his condolences to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the death of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey Andrey Karlov.
The telegram reads:
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich!
On behalf of the people of the Republic of Abkhazia and myself, I express my deepest condolences on the death of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey Andrey Karlov.
The murder of a diplomat is a violation of all accepted norms of civilized society and the ultimate crime. We strongly condemn this act of terrorism.
In this difficult time, we express our deep regret at the loss of a distinguished diplomat and a great patriot of his country. We grieve with the family and friends of Andrey Gennadievich".
