In accordance with the Statement of the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ashot Ghulyan to the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of Abkhazia Valeriy Bganba, representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia took part as international observers in the regular elections to the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic which took place on May 3rd.
The Abkhaz delegation involves MPs Fazlibey Avidzba, Mikhail Sangulia, Said Kharazia, Levon Galustyan as well as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Abkhazia Ashot Minosyan.
Monitoring of elections held in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, was carried out by more than 100 observers from 30 countries.
To the deputies of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic ran 164 candidates on party lists and 42 - on majority system (single-mandate). At the same time it was necessary to elect 22 deputies by party lists and 11 - in majority districts.
