Abkhazia and Nauru have signed a Treaty of Amity and Cooperation

Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Beslan Bartsits and Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Nauru Cyril Buraman signed a bilateral treaty on friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Nauru.

 Welcoming the Speaker of Parliament Cyril Buraman, RA Prime Minister Beslan Bartsits noted that Abkhazia treasures relationship with the Republic of Nauru. "We are intended to develop those diplomatic relations that exist between our two countries since December 2009. And the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Abkhazia and Nauru, which we are now going to sign, is the proof", - said Bartsits.
 
 RA Prime Minister noted that although Nauru geographically located far from Abkhazia, it will not prevent the two countries to build friendly relations. "The Republic of Nauru is the triumph of justice. Such a small country adequately represented in the UN. We have no doubt that the day when the flag of the Republic of Abkhazia flying at the United Nations will come ", - said Bartsits.
 
 In turn, Cyril Buraman noted that the purpose of his visit is to strengthen the friendly relations with Abkhazia. "We are honored to be in Abkhazia during this important national holiday", - said Buraman.
 
 Cyril Buraman stressed that Nauru is ready to further promote the interests of Abkhazia in the UN.
 
 Then the ceremony of the signing of Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Nauru took place.
 
 At the same time Acting Foreign Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Arshba, opening the ceremony of signing the Treaty, stressed that "strong ties and common positions on issues of bilateral cooperation and world order are key aspects of a solid foundation for further development of bilateral relations".
 
On the part of the Republic of Abkhazia, the document was signed by RA Prime Minister Beslan Bartsits on the part of the Republic of Nauru - Speaker of Parliament Cyril Buraman.
