Abkhazia and South Ossetia concluded an agreement on international road transport

The State Administration on transport of the Republic of Abkhazia signed an agreement on international automobile communication.

Sukhum. July 25. Apsnypress. The State Administration on Transport of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Committee on Industry, Transport and Energy of the Republic of South Ossetia signed an agreement on international automobile communication. 
 
 The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Abkhazia Oleg Botsiev, Head of the Department of Strategic Cooperation Jemal Bganba. From the Abkhaz side the document was signed by head of the State Transport Directorate, Robestan Gabliya, from South Ossetia, by Chairman of the Industry, Transport and Energy Committee, Batradz Sanakoev. 
 
 As Robestan Gabliya noted, this is another step towards the rapprochement of the fraternal peoples. “The signed Agreement is socially significant. The route Tskhinval-Vladikavkaz-Sukhum will run all year round, ” - said Gabliya. 
 
 For his part, Batradz Sanakoev said: “We have taken another step towards strengthening economic ties between the fraternal republics, including in the field of tourism. In Soviet times, Abkhazia was a tourist center, and now in South Ossetia, the tourist industry is developing, and its own travel agencies are opening. The signed Agreement will give an additional impetus to the promotion of this industry. "
 
 The delegation of the Republic of South Ossetia visited the Republic of Abkhazia with a working visit. The delegation includes Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Transport and Energy of the Republic of South Ossetia Batradz Sanakoev, head of the transport department of the Committee on Industry, Transport and Energy of the Republic of South Ossetia Timur Besaev.
