Sukhum. March 29. Apsnypress. The Decree on the establishment of the State Scientific Institution "Research Center "Abkhazian Encyclopedia" was approved at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Abkhazia.
Presenting the draft Resolution, head of the legal department of the Cabinet of Ministers of Abkhazia Lasha Tsava said: "The existence of a national encyclopedia is one of the attributes of any state. The mission of this institution will be the collection, processing and publication of materials related to Abkhazia and all the processes that take place in it - scientific, social, political and economic. Encyclopedia will help spread information about Abkhazia beyond its borders. "
Vasily Avidzba is appointed the director of the new state structure.
For his part, Vasily Avidzba thanked for the appointment and assured that the new institution will serve for the good of the people and the state.
