Sukhum. February 26. Apsnypress. RA President Raul Khadjimba signed the RA Law "On the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Abkhazia". This was reported on the official website of the RA President.
"This Act was adopted in order to ensure the universal enjoyment of human rights and freedoms, as well as the implementation of the government in accordance with the principle of good governance, and determines the legal status, organizational forms and conditions for activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Abkhazia", - says a statement
The law was adopted by the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia on February 10, 2016.
In addition, the RA President signed a law on amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Abkhazia. In particular, signed the following laws:
"On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Abkhazia in connection with the introduction of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Abkhazia".
"On Amending the RA Law "On personal pensions in the Republic of Abkhazia".
"On Amending the RA Law "On RA Armed Forces reserve".
