About the order of visiting karst caves, visa-free communication with South Ossetia and the fate of the holiday house "Abkhazia"

Sukhum. June 30. Apsnypress. According to the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia Avtandil Gartskiya, the document defined the procedure for obtaining permission to visit the karst caves. 

From now on, "the members of the Speleology club must submit an application to the Ministry, and to coordinate with the State Committee on Ecology and Nature Protection", - said Avtandil Gartskiya.   

Attitude to all who wish to visit the caves should be "friendly, but strict", - said Prime Minister Artur Mikvabia. 

At the same time the chairman of the State Committee on Ecology and Nature Protection Saveliy Chitanava proposed to establish a special commission to resolve the names of the newly discovered "caverns". "There are about 150 names of caves in Abkhazia and only 10% of them are given Abkhaz names", - he said. 

In addition, the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft decision on the conclusion of the Agreement between the Governments of the Republic of Abkhazia and South Ossetia on visa-free, direct movement of citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia. As noted in the presentation of the Foreign Ministry, the signing of the agreement will "contribute to strengthening the legal foundations of long-term development of relations between countries and the consolidation of the level of the Abkhaz-Ossetian partnership".  

Also, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the Regulation on the Republican Unitary Enterprise Holiday House "Abkhazia", ​​that gives the State Committee for Management of State Property and Privatization the rights of the owner. According to the chairman of the Committee Konstantin Katsiya, after examination and inventory of the object, its fate will be decided, and the order to attract investment. Perhaps the Holiday House will be rent or sold. At the same meeting it was decided to give RUE "Abhazvtorresursy" license for a period up to 31 December 2015 for exports of 2000 tons of scrap non-ferrous metals, with the payment of customs duty of 10%.
