Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Control of Abkhazia signed a Cooperation Agreement

Sukhum. April 7th. Apsnypress. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Control Chamber of Abkhazia Robert Arshba and Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova. 

Tatyana Golikova and Robert Arshba exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation of Supreme Audit Institutions of Russia and Abkhazia. The parties were unanimous on the need for increased intersectoral cooperation, taking into account the dynamic development of cooperation which takes place recently between the two countries. "Before our offices costs a lot of new, long-term tasks related to the implementation of systems of top political leaders of our countries", - said Tatyana Golikova. 

During the meeting, the sides discussed the main directions and prospects for further interagency cooperation, including joint work in the field of testing the use by the Republic of Abkhazia of the financial assistance of the Russian Federation in 2012-2014. and the past period in 2015 

The meeting also agreed to exchange experiences in the implementation of state financial audit. The members of the Abkhazian delegation expressed particular interest in the study and use of the experience and techniques of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation to conduct preliminary, operational and subsequent control over the formation and execution of the state budget. 

For her part, Tatyana Golikova confirmed her readiness to assist the Control Chamber of the Republic of Abkhazia comprehensive care and support in the way of its formation and development. 

Following the meeting, as a first step to implement the agreements reached sides signed an agreement on cooperation. "I am confident that the agreement will not only serve to further strengthen our interagency cooperation, but also will help to ensure the proper execution of programs aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between our countries", - said Tatiana Golikova. 

On signing the Agreement, were present the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation Igor Akhba, auditors of the Control Chamber Beslan Kvitsinia and Beslan  Torchua, head of the legal department of the CC Madina Bagateliya and representatives of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.
