Adgur Ardzinba: if an enterprise does not work efficiently, then let's get rid of the excessive burden on the state

Minister of Economy of Abkhazia Adgur Ardzinba held a working meeting with the heads of subordinated state enterprises.

Sukhum. February 22. Apsnypress. Minister of Economy of Abkhazia Adgur Ardzinba discussed the results of work of the state enterprises in 2017 at a working meeting with heads of subordinated organizations.

 As it was noted at the meeting, the previous year was a difficult one, therefore, the profit indicators are not so significant. Nevertheless, Minister of Economy stressed that there are also subjective reasons for the slowdown in development of enterprises. "Despite the existing problems, the balance sheet profit margins are unsatisfactory. I would ask you to prepare a plan for development and a way out of these situations, " - he said to the audience.
  
 Adgur Ardzinba explained that republican unitary enterprises can work only in two directions. One of them is strategic, where national problems are solved. These are the tasks, for example, of Chernomorenergo. The work of other enterprises should be directed, exclusively, to making a profit. "Enterprises whose activities in our opinion, are not of a strategic nature in the current situation, we transferred to the State Committee for State Property Management and Privatization, with subsequent access to privatization," - he said.
  
Minister of Economy recalled that today there is substantiation needed to receive state's aid. "If your enterprises are needed for the state and there is a need for some infusions, then we will find and do them. If not, and the enterprise does not work efficiently, then let's get rid of the excessive burden of the state, " - said Adgur Ardzinba.

 In addition, the meeting participants discussed the problems and ways to solve them.

 As a result of the meeting, Minister of Economy instructed to work out development plans for each state enterprise and submit it for consideration on time.
