The results of testing the effectiveness and targeted use of state property under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, which was held by the Chamber of Control of Abkhazia, were discussed in the ministry at an enlarged meeting.

"RA President set the task before the Government to raise the maximum efficient use of state property. This primarily concerns the public enterprises - RUP and MUP", - he underlined. According to him, some work in this direction has already been done. And to move on, it needed a comprehensive analysis of the situation. In this regard, the ministry had set up a special unit - the Office for the Coordination of the activities of state enterprises subordinate. That is what management is intended to harmonize the legislation of the activity of 24 RUPs.
Adgur Ardzinba thanked the auditors of the Control Chamber for their work, noting that, together with the materials testing applications totaled more than 600 pages. The act of verification, and recommendations has already been received by the Ministry of Economy and the report will be prepared in the near future.
The head of the Office for the Coordination of the activities of state enterprises under the Ministry Guram Korsantia summarized the findings of the Control Chamber and talked about common to many RUPs violations, which, he stressed, will work together to "bring into line and rake". He noted that the audit findings concerned only "efficient and targeted use of state property" and did not consider the results of production and economic activity.
Among the common violations of the current legislation Guram Korsantia called: lack of legal documents, squatter (have questions on what means it is built), unauthorized demolition and write-off of property, pledge without the consent of the owner, to obtain loans without the consent of the owner, renting rental property in the RUPs where it is not provided by the Charter of the organization and at a lower price, the lack of employment contracts, etc.
Korsantia said: "Where there is the offense, the investigation will be connected to the Prosecutor's Office and the Interior Ministry authorities. There will not be indulgence for anyone. We intend to make tough decisions, including personnel," - he said.
Adgur Ardzinba said: "The problems are reflected in the report of the Control Chamber, accumulated over the past 20 years. There are both objective and subjective reasons. And we will fix all this very tough, progressively and methodically".
