Adgur Ardzinba: Today we have come to an end of the first stage of the program of development of Abkhazian economy until 2025

In Moscow there was a meeting of a working group of the Abkhaz Ministry of Economy with the leadership of the consulting company "Strategy Partners Group".

In Moscow, the Economic Development Council of Coordinators and Reform Commission under the President of the Republic, the Minister of Economy Adgur Ardzinba and head of the Moscow Abkhaz diaspora Beslan Agrba held a meeting with the President of the consulting company "Strategy Partners Group" Alexander Idrisov.  According to the report, the meeting discussed the current performance of works on preparation of the Program of Economy of the Republic of Abkhazia until 2025, which is prepared by a working group at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Abkhazia with the assistance of experts from the consulting company SPG. "Today we have come to an end of the first phase of the program, and after fixing the main conclusions and the list of selected initiatives at the upcoming in the near future strategy session in Abkhazia, we can move on", - said Adgur Ardzinba.
 
 Ardzinba said: "This is a very important document. The document, without which it is impossible to talk about the progressive and gradual development of our economy. Following the adoption of the Strategy of social and economic development up to 2025, we for the first time in the modern history of the country can increase the planning horizon and to have a road map for action in the medium term".
 
 Economy Minister expressed confidence that at this kind of documents should unfold the main discussions of all political and social forces of the country. "Unfortunately, everything happens exactly the opposite, and at the last meeting, it was decided to postpone an expanded meeting previously scheduled on December 15 on January 2017 in connection with the current political situation", - he added.
 
Adgur Ardzinba also reminded that the work is carried out with the direct assistance of representatives of the Moscow Abkhaz diaspora, which took over all financial matters related to the involvement of external experts.
