Adgur Kakoba: USE can not replace live communication with teacher during the exam

Sukhum. June 16. Apsnypress. "We do not plan to introduce in schools of Abkhazia unified state exam, because, in my opinion, it is unnecessary and unproductive measure. USE can not replace live communication with teacher during the exam. Even in Russia, the measure has not caused general acceptance. One of the main reasons for introducing a unified state examination - an attempt to curb corruption in universities. However, as we can see from global experience, corruption in most cases only transferres from universities to schools", - told Apsnypress Adgur Kakoba. 

According to the minister, schools of Abkhazia operates traditional, time-tested system of final examinations. Commission consisting of the examiner, the school principal and teachers is in classes during the exam. The commission often includes officers of the Ministry of Education, municipal and district education departments and university professors. 

Finals in all public schools of Abkhazia begin on 3rd of June and will last until June 22. Among the examination subjects: mother tongue and literature, history of Abkhazia, foreign language and one subject of the student's choice.
