Adur Ardzinba: patent system will ease the life of entrepreneurs

Parliamentarians discussed the bill "On the Patent System of Taxation" at the session of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia.

 Representing the bill the President's representative in the Parliament Dmitry Shamba explained: "The tax system is designed to simplify tax administration. The system proposed in the draft law extends to individual entrepreneurs who do not use hired power and self-employed citizens, both of Abkhazia and foreign countries, as well as stateless persons. Acquiring a patent, an entrepreneur gets rid of the accounting records. The introduction of the patent system replaces a number of taxes. At the same time, 85% of this amount will be channeled to local budgets, 12% - to the pension fund and 3% - to other extra-budgetary funds. The patent is purchased for certain types of activities for a period of 1 month to 12. And the longer a patent operates, the lower the tax rate. "

 For her part, the chairman of the profile parliamentary committee Natalie Smyr stressed that at the meeting of the Committee the bill was discussed twice. "A patent system is being singled out from the system of special tax systems. Moreover, with the introduction of a new taxation system, the rate of payments for entrepreneurs will not increase, " - noted Natalie Smyr.

 The bill was commented by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Abkhazia Adgur Ardzinba: "In the program" 25 Steps of Development of the Abkhaz Economy until 2025 ", one of the five blocks is devoted to reforming the tax system. Due to the development of the program, the Ministry prepared and presented a new concept of the taxation system to President."  

 At the same time, Ardzinba stressed: "In the future, the patent system will provide an opportunity to collect all the permits in one package, which will greatly facilitate the life of entrepreneurs."
