Ahmet Hapat: we want Abkhazia to be strengthened, and our people living in peace!

<b>Sukhum. December 12. Apsnypress. Lana Tsvizhba. </b> At a press conference, representatives of the Federation of Abkhazian cultural centers in Turkey commented on the political situation in Abkhazia, as well as informed about the ongoing work aimed at recognition of the Republic of Abkhazia.
 
 At the same time chairman of the Federation of cultural centers Akhmed Hapat said: "If there is a problem, it is our problem. We want Abkhazia to be strengthened, and our people living in peace!"
 
   On a political situation of Abkhazia spoke a member of the Council of Elders of Abkhazians living in Turkey, Adem Mahara: "For few days we discussed the political situation in our homeland before we came to Abkhazia. Diaspora decided to arrive in Abkhazia to learn what is going on. Representatives of the authorities and the opposition are our people. According to him, the Abkhaz diaspora in Turkey worries about the political situation in the country. "We have one homeland! What will we do if there will be a collision? We can not return Abkhazians who have died, but we have the elders, who can direct us to the right path, to reconcile the government and opposition. We need to think about how will we look before our brothers from the Caucasus, who have come to help in the war. Do not they think about what their children were killed for?"
 
 Ahmet Hapat said that they will talk to both parties. "There must be opposition in the state and express its opinion. But we all need unity and to act only according to the law. We have only one way out - a dialogue ", - said Hapat.
 
 Ahmet Hapat also spoke about the work of the cultural centers of the Federation of Abkhazia in Turkey. Thus, according to him, the Abkhazian diaspora in Turkey contributed to the resolution of conflict between Russia and Turkey. "This will change Turkey's policy towards Abkhazia. Do not be surprised if Turkey recognizes Abkhazia. And I do not say this because I am Abkhazian. I look at it from a strategic side. We need to join forces in the recognition of Abkhazia ", - said Hapat.
 
 In addition, Hapat informed about specific issues: establishment of a bilateral maritime communication, freedom of movement between countries on Abkhaz passports and other issues.
 
 Also at a press conference, representatives of the Federation of Abkhazian cultural centers in Turkey, addressed to the people of Abkhazia.
 
The appeal reads in part: "We believe that at a time when we have a lot of enemies, we are obliged to maintain our freedom and independence. Our people gave their lives for it. And therefore we urge people to behave in a way that befits our culture, in accordance with democratic rules and the law. All of our people believe that we are able to overcome the difficulties. Abkhazians from ancient times have had find solutions when there was a question to be or not to be. It is not that kind of situation, from which there is no decent way out".
