Airline "Orenburg" plans to operate flights to Abkhazia

The company stated that the air carrier Orenburg may begin to operate flights over the border, including Abkhazia.

 After the information that Orenburg air carrier had not get into the state program of subsidized air travel in the Russian regions in 2017, the airline emphasized on maintaining the existing prices, but changing the frequency of flights.
 
 In this case, the first direction of the company will be Caucasus, in particular, Abkhazia. "We discuss the extension of the flight program at the expense of the new directions from Krasnodar and Sochi", -  the company said.
 
 "In order to optimize the economic and consumer processes the company is considering interesting tourist routes, working on the road, linking distant cities of Russia, providing connections between their own flights and flights of other airlines", - the airline reported.
 
Vyacheslav Eshba director of Sukhum Airport considers such plans premature and offers to wait for an official statement by Federal Air Transport Agency.
