Albert Likhanov proposed to create Children's Fund in Abkhazia

Sukhum. June 17. Apsnypress. This question Albert Likhanov and his Deputy for International Affairs Dmitry Likhanov discussed at the meeting with the President of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba.

"In 1987 was created the Soviet Children's Fund named after Lenin, and after the collapse of the USSR there was an international association of children's funds and all our branches became independent funds. There was a department of Children's Fund in Abkhazia. I come to you today with a request and a proposal to revive the republic's Children's Fund, and enable it as a separate fund that will be a part of the International Association of Children's Funds", - shared his plans Likhanov.

The President, in turn, said that he fully supports the initiative.

"The situation requires appropriate interventions not only in Abkhazia, but in general. Our children deserve more attention, especially after the misfortunes that had gone through Abkhazia. It is important for us to raise them quite different, children's health is an important component of any state, so we are ready to talk to you about the issues you put", - said Raul Khadjimba.

Albert Likhanov said that the fund has never used means of the state and carries out their projects with the help of the people, and the help he asks the President of Abkhazia is for the organization.
