Today, at 13:00, was opened the personal exhibition of painter and sculptor Givi Smyr in the Central Exhibition Hall.
"All of our ancient symbols are forgotten, the mighty pantheon of the Abkhazian Gods is killed on sight. People forget it . It is necessary to raise from the ruins all, so that it will become popular in the modern world", - marked the problems Givi Smyr.
"I am very pleased today to see another facet of the spiritual world by Givi. I hope that the exhibition will find its place in New Athos", - said the Minister of Culture, historical and cultural heritage of Abkhazia Elvira Arsaliya.
According to our correspondent, to visitors are presented forty-eight works, including several sculptures from wood.
It should be noted that this is the first in twenty years exhibition of Givi Smyr in Abkhazia. The exhibition will continue until 20th of February.
