President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba had a meeting with the Minister of Health Andzor Goov.

At the meeting with the Head of State, Minister of Health Andzor Goov reported on the clinical examination of population, the prospects of building a multidisciplinary medical center, as well as the organization of compulsory health insurance in the country.
 
 Thus, according to Andzor Goov clinical examination of the population has been already completed in Ochamchira, Gal and Tkuarchal areas. "This year we provided funds for the continuation of clinical examination. In March this work will continue. A database of health passports already exist in three regions ", - said Goov.
 
 The Minister of Health announced plans for construction in Abkhazia Diversified Medical Center. According Andzor Goov, this project should be carried out at the expense of the attracted investment assets. "The provisional amount to build a medical center is more than 350 million rubles. It will be built on the territory of the Republican Hospital. Our citizens, who have a medical insurance policy will be able to come to this institution and receive free medical care ", - told Goov. According to him, the project will include the Center department of cardiac surgery and dialysis, family planning center and central laboratory.
 
 Also Andzor Goov informed on the meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund on the organization of the mandatory medical insurance of Russian citizens residing in the RA. "We have identified six areas where policies should be issued. Gagra, Gudauta, Ochamchira, Tkuarchal and 2 points in Sukhum. Availability of policy gives our citizens to ensure a guaranteed, high-grade medical care on the territory of the Russian Federation ", - said the Minister.
 
President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba noted the need to create a common base of data of citizens receiving medical care for compulsory health insurance, as well as to explore issues of this treatment.
 
In addition, Goov reported on measures aimed at increasing discipline in medical institutions in particular a disciplinary commission set up at the Ministry of Health which will begin work in the near future.
