Another training for medical personnel was held at the headquarters for protecting the population from coronavirus

The topic of the event was a detailed briefing by medical staff on the safety rules for working with infected by COVID-19.

Sukhum. April 6. Apsnypress. The operational headquarters for protecting the population of Abkhazia from coronavirus infection held another training for laboratory assistants and nurses of regional medical institutions. Press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Abkhazia reported.  

 As noted the message, the main topic of the event was a detailed briefing by the medical staff on the safety rules for working with infected with COVID-19, as well as detailed training on the collection of biological material from potential infected people.  

 The training was conducted by Alla Belyaeva, Chief Sanitary Officer of Sukhum, and Head of the Laboratory of Immunology and Virology, NIIEPIT Alisa Matua.  
 
Representative of the operational headquarters, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Abkhazia, Alkhas Kondzharia, noted that there are already medical teams prepared for reception of patients with coronavirus in the republic. However, despite the absence of patients with coronavirus in Abkhazia at the moment, additional forces are being mobilized to ensure that the healthcare system is prepared for any development of the situation.
