Apsny Myths have been revived by choreographer Akhra Taniya

The premiere of the ballet "The myth of the seven elders" by choreographer Akhra Taniya has been successfully hosted in the theater of the State Institute of Theatrical Arts in Moscow.

Its land is so artistic that causes a flight of imagination and can not leave anyone indifferent, especially a choreographer. I allowed myself to write a fairy tale, myth and make it in a dance ", - said Akhra Taniya.
 
 The audience saw the ballet, based on the ancient legend of the Abkhaz for the first time. Caucasian demi-classical ballet - that's how the director of the ballet defined the genre. The play is completely based on classical ballet school, but in common with other dance styles: modern dance, folk dance - in this case, the Abkhaz.
 
 The showl was attended by People's Artist of the USSR Mikhail Lavrovskii, GITIS teachers, employees of the Abkhazian embassy, ​​representatives of the Abkhaz diaspora, the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in Russia.
 
 Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Akhra Tania - works in the State Folk Dance Ensemble of Igor Moiseyev, tours a lot and studies on the choreographers faculty of GITIS in the workshop of National Artist of the USSR Mikhail Lavrovsky. This performance is a graduate work of Akhra Taniya.
