Art school students are involved in creation of the Medical Calendar

Medical Calendar with international dates devoted to various diseases, UNICEF will release together with the Association of health workers of Abkhazia.

The creation of a medical calendar is the first joint project of the UN Children's Fund UNICEF and the Association of health workers of Abkhazia. To publish the calendar, it was decided to involve children.

As part of the announced contest presented forty works of art school students "Ainar" and art studio of Mary Piliya. Twenty drawings of them were selected to design and create a calendar.

"We supported the initiative of the Association of health workers in creating a calendar with important dates that the global community considers to be important both in terms of prevention, and draw attention to problems of medicine", - noted expert on health and nutrition UNICEF Andrew Tulisov.

The calendar will be released in 1000 copies and distributed to medical and educational institutions in Abkhazia.
