Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya informed about his working visit to Moscow at a briefing.

Sukhum. July 8. Apsnypress. Elena Poluyan. According to the Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya, there were held several meetings in a one-day working visit to Moscow.
 
 In particular, Prime Minister said that during the meeting in the Administration of the Russian President with the aide Vladislav Surkov, "there was given a positive assessment of the course of realization of Abkhazian-Russian bilateral agreement "On the alliance and strategic partnership". Also, "there was noted the increase in the volume of financial assistance of Russia in 2016 compared to 2015". According to him, this year's funding from the Russian Federation increased by almost 5 billion rubles, which in total amounted to 7.7 billion rubles. "Such an increase in financial assistance demonstrates the high level of trust and support for the political and economic course which is held by the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba and the RA Government, and aimed at improving the welfare of citizens, economic development and strengthening of the Abkhaz-Russian relations", - said Mikvabiya.
 
 In addition, Prime Minister said: "We agreed that the Abkhaz political situation must be resolved exclusively in the framework of the Constitution and the Law. At the same time the Russian side expressed concern at the fact that a number of actions of the opposition forces has gone beyond the legal field. In particular, we talked about the injured".
 
 Another meeting in the framework of his working visit took place at the head of the government with the Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin, which was also attended by Minister for the North Caucasus Lev Kuznetsov. At the meeting they discussed the course of implementation of the investment program to promote the Abkhazian socio-economic development for 2015-2017 years. "The conversation was marked by positive developments in the implementation of the action plan from the beginning of 2016. However, the parties have agreed to a certain backlog of planned rates. We agreed and outlined specific ways of effective implementation of the work on 328 objects of investment. Compared with the previous year, the number of objects increased by 2 times".
 
According to Prime Minister, "there will be a regular meeting of the intergovernmental commission on socio-economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia in the last week of August, which will announced the preliminary results of the implementation of the investment program and the ways of intensification of work on the successful completion of all planned activities in the amount of funding - 4.7 billion rubles. "The task is difficult, but both sides have a marked desire to implement it", - Mikvabiya concluded.
