Crimea and Abkhazia plan to cooperate in the field of tourism and the processing of agricultural products, develop humanitarian and cultural ties.
Sukhum. April 15. Apsnypress. As Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya noted, "the development of relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Crimea is of mutual interest, RIA Novosti (Crimea) reported.
As a result of signing a bilateral agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Crimea and Abkhazia, which took place in the framework of the Yalta Economic Forum, Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya informed journalists: "The documents signed with the republic of Crimea concern different spheres. In the economic sphere it is the supply of high-quality building materials from Abkhazia. We also have found common ground in the field of processing of agricultural products. Abkhazia can supply building materials to the peninsula. Countries could jointly develop tourism. In particular, we ask for help in the development of tourism clusters".
Also, according to Mikvabiya, an important aspect of the cooperation is the development of humanitarian and cultural relations. In particular, it is planned to organize performances of creative groups from Abkhazia in Crimea, the Crimean culture days in Abkhazia, to exchange students.
