According to the report, there took place an exchange of views on a wide range of issues during the meeting.

President thanked entrepreneurs for helping the people of Abkhazia during the pandemic. “We all were inspired by the unity with which you responded to universal misfortune. The coronavirus problem is severe, and it will certainly have great negative consequences. But with God's help, we can handle it, ” Aslan Bzhaniya said.

  Aslan Bzhaniya emphasized that there are still problems that have troubled us for a long time. This is a high level of crime and corruption.

The head of state voiced a number of ideas and suggested participation of their implementation to representatives of business.

Aslan Bzhaniya announced general statistics on abductions. So, in particular, according to information provided by law enforcement agencies, the total amount of the ransom required by the criminals when abducting 53 citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia is more than a billion rubles, of which more than 200 million rubles were paid to criminals.

The head of state considers it necessary to take extraordinary measures to protect society and the state from crime. “They have taken alarming proportions, so it is important to combine all efforts. In this regard, we are counting on you, ” said Aslan Bzhaniya, referring to entrepreneurs.

At the same time, President emphasized that the country's leadership is well aware that it is impossible to solve all problems in the state by business.
