The relevant order was signed by the Head of State.
Sukhum. June 17. Apsnypress. President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya issued an Order “On some measures to ensure the stability of the budget system of the Republic of Abkhazia for 2020 during the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the Republic of Abkhazia”.
The document says:
“In order to ensure the stability of the budget system of the Republic of Abkhazia, timely financing of priority spending commitments and activities of special importance, in connection with restrictive measures aimed at curbing the spread of new coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the Republic of Abkhazia, the Cabinet of Ministers to develop and approve measures aimed at ensuring the stability of the RA budget system for 2020, providing:
–Determining priority areas for financing budget expenditures;
–Strengthening control over the targeted and efficient use of the budgetary system;
“Strengthening the efficiency of administrator of the budget revenues in terms of control over the completeness and timeliness of making payments to the budget."
