With the new school year in the Abkhazian State University will be exams for the applicants on knowledge of the Abkhazian language.

As stated by the ASU's rector, Professor, Academician of Natural Sciences Aleko Gvaramiya, the Abkhazian sector will have the first exam - "Abkhazian dictation" in Russian and Armenian sectors - interview for at least a minimum knowledge of the state language.

Moreover, according to him, the students who don't speak Abkhazian language learn it the first three semesters. From now on, students will study the official language at least one year. Perhaps each semester will be tests, and finally - the state exam.
