Khutaba and Walid al-Muallem discussed bilateral relations between Abkhazia and Syria.
Sukhum. 21 July. Apsnypress. On July 21, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Compatriots Abroad of the Syrian Arab Republic Walid al-Muallem received the Ambassador of Abkhazia to Syria Bagrat Khutaba at the Syrian Foreign Ministry.
As the press service of the RA MFA reported, Khutaba presented a copy of his credentials to Walid al-Muallem.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Abkhazia and Syria. The parties indicated their interest in developing cooperation in various fields within the framework of previously signed agreements.
In the near future, there will be held a ceremony to present his credentials to President of the Syrian Arab Republic, His Excellency Bashar al-Assad.
