Today, the banking system of Abkhazia itself became a brake on economic development of the country.

Those requirements, which are now facing the bank, in my opinion, can deal with other people who are ready to go for radical change", - said the President at a press conference, commenting on the resignation of Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia Emma Taniya.

According to him, part of the commercial banks of Abkhazia closed due to the fact that their liquidity was low enough. And refinancing, which was carried out, resembled more the desire to maintain a certain group of banks and do not work with others. "Banks lended to individual persons or structures a long time. But why do not we have the right to borrow from banks ordinary people? Why is the amount of these loans can not be 100-200-300 thousand? The bank must be an active participant in the formation of Abkhazia and be included in these processes!" - said Khadjimba.

He noted that today the banking system in  Abkhazia itself  became a brake on economic development of the country. Any questions to other banks, such as Sberbank, where a significant amount of defaults on previously issued bank loans. "There is a problem which must be recovered as soon as possible", - said the head of state.
