Basis of the export of the country amounted agricultural products - 86%

The College of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia discussed the results of work for 2014.

According to the deputy chief of the State Customs Committee of RA Ushangi Kvitsiniya, foreign trade turnover of Abkhazia in the past year amounted to 19 billion 905.5 million rubles, 11% more than in the previous one, in 2013. At the same time, imports amounted to 16 billion 984.2 million rubles, while export - 2 billion 921.3 million rubles. "Against the background of the total turnover has been a steady increase in negative balance", - said Kvitsinia.

That is the number of excess of imports over exports amounted to - 14 billion 62.9 million rubles. The main trade partners of Abkhazia, as in previous years, are Russia and Turkey, which accounted for 72% of total turnover (the Russian Federation - 58%, Turkey - 14%).

But most importantly, the State Customs Committee of Abkhazia performed benchmarks assessed on the customs duties by 107%. The budget received 819.6 million rubles. And, as the chairman of the SCC RA Daur Kobakhia, the situation was fundamentally broken-in end of the year. Thus, in November 2014 lag planned figure was 57 million rubles, for the year it was possible not only to fulfill the plan, but also to exceed the number of allocations in the budget of 50 million rubles.

As before, the basis of the country's exports amounted to agricultural products (86%) and mining (14%). To "breathe easier" this year has become for the domestic producers of beer and sparkling wines. In the dynamics of imports decreased the percentage of excise goods (6% beer, sparkling wine at 27%). And it happened because of higher import tariffs to protect national business. There are problems in the SCC RA.

One of the principal, according to the head of the Anti-Smuggling and Customs Offences Tengiz Jopua "imbalance activity" customs. The fact is that in recent years actively developed only economic bloc RA SCC, to the detriment of law enforcement. Staffing level of just 9 people. Lack of transport, no gasoline, no people. However, in 2014, was held on 7 operational activities, the total mass of the seized drugs was 50.51 grams. As noted Daur Kobakhia it is necessary to solve a lot of problems. This upcoming performance appraisal SCC RA, and strengthening the fight against smuggling. But, more importantly, we need to plan indicators. And this year they have been increased by 100 million rubles.
