Beslan Barateliya presented to the parliamentary committees cost estimates of the National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia for 2015

A meeting of the Committee on Budget, credit organizations, Taxes and Finance, chaired by its president, Georgiy Agrba.

The meeting agenda included issues relating to the activities of the National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia and the draft Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia is associated with an increase in wages major categories of employees of state institutions of the Republic of Abkhazia.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker Otar Tsvizhba, deputy chairman of the Budget Committee, credit institutions, Taxes and Finance Beslan Tsvinariya deputies Valery Agrba, Anzor Kokoskeriya, Said Kharaziya, Ahra Bzhaniya, Levon Galustyan, Beslan Gubaz, Temur Guliya, Dmitriy Gunba, Apollon Gurguliya and Almas Dzhapua.

The budget of the National Bank of the Republic of Abkhazia in 2015 was presented by the Chairman of the Bank of Abkhazia Beslan Barateliya. In the discussion, the Committee decided to recommend the adoption at the next meeting of the session of the Parliament of the Bank of Abkhazia cost estimates for the current year.

Finance Minister Amra Kvarandziya presented to the participants of the meeting a draft agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on procedures and conditions for co-financing from the funds of the Russian Federation higher wages major categories of employees of state institutions of the Republic of Abkhazia in the field of health, education, culture, science, sports, and social services for citizens in 2015.

The draft Agreement is designed to implement the relevant provisions of the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on alliance and strategic partnership on 24 November 2014.

The agreement defines the basic categories of employees of state institutions of the Republic of Abkhazia in the field of health, education, science, culture, sport and social services to citizens, wage increases which will be carried out at the expense of the Russian Federation, their normative population and target values of the average wage in 2015, procedure for determining the volume and allocation of funds for co-financing by the Russian Federation.

Implementation of the agreement provides for the first stage of the increase in average wages major categories of employees of state institutions of the Republic of Abkhazia in the field of health, education, science, culture, sport and social services to citizens in order to achieve the phase-level comparable with the level of remuneration appropriate categories of workers in the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation.

The main questions raised by the deputies the Minister of Finance had been associated with the terms of the implementation of this agreement. The work on the submitted document will be continued. Note that in accordance with the law, this document is subject to ratification by parliament.
