Business community of Germany is interested in cooperation with Abkhaz businessmen

A delegation from Germany arrived in Abkhazia at the invitation of the RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The delegation from Germany headed by the official representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany Wolfgang Matske arrived in Abkhazia at the invitation of the RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The delegation includes businessmen, general directors of large German companies, and well-known journalist Thomas Nels, who intends to prepare information material on the Republic of Abkhazia. 

 The guests arrived in the republic in order to study the economic potential of our country. In addition, they are interested in cooperation with Abkhaz businessmen and are considering investing in various sectors of Abkhazia. 

   The delegation from Germany visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia and met with President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia, Tamila Mertskhulava. 

 During the meeting they discussed issues related to development of cooperation in various fields and possibility of implementing new investment projects, as well as issues related to development of trade and economic ties between the business circles of Abkhazia and the FRG, which could contribute to an increase in the volume of trade between the countries. Also, the meeting discussed the further work of the CCI office in Germany. 

 At the end of the meeting, Tamila Mertskhulava presented memorable gifts to the guests. 

 Within the framework of the working program prepared by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia there are planned official meetings of the delegation with RA President Raul Khajimba, Prime Minister Gennady Gagulia and Foreign Minister Daur Kove. 

Also on the initiative of one of the members of delegation, Mr. Vladislav Stepanov they will meet with students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Abkhaz State University on "Business technologies and start-ups in Germany. Prospects and experience."
