Businessmen from Nizhny Novgorod region are ready to discuss the processing and delivery of Abkhaz agricultural products- Adgur Lushba

According Adgur Lushba, the main purpose of the visit of the Abkhazian delegation to Nizhny Novgorod region - as far as possible to present and tell the residents of the Russian region about Abkhazia, its potential and prospects, build further relationships at various levels. The trip was hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of the Nizhny Novgorod region. 

As Adgur Lushba noted, a business meeting in the office of CCI in Nizhny Novgorod, was attended by representatives of business circles of the regional center and the surrounding areas, as well as the authorities at the departmental level of the ministries. "Presentation of the Republic of Abkhazia includes demonstration videos and a story about the potential of Abkhazia, its modern history, the main directions of development and our vision of building cooperation with enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod region. After the presentation, were held separate meetings with interested parties and journalists. In addition, there was an exposition of the Abkhazian goods and samples of the products", - said Lushba. 

On the same day was another meeting - with the vice-governor and the ministers of the region. As a result, the interest of the Russian side came the possibility of supplies of Abkhazian agricultural products on the internal market of Nizhniy Novgorod region, as well as the theme of tourism and recreation in Abkhazia. "All the issues have been discussed are within frameworks and require further specific studies", - said Adgur Lushba. 

Abkhaz delegation also visited the industrial town Arzamas, whose population is almost half the population of the Republic of Abkhazia. The possibility of organizing through unions vacations of citizens in Abkhazia was discussed with the Mayor of the town, the authorities and representatives of the companies.

"When in Nizhny Novgorod we talked about the statistics of trade with Abkhazia, it had to admit that it is about 100 million rubles per year. In Nizhny Novgorod region it is the performance of the average supermarket. This is an occasion to reflect! So one of the objectives of our meetings and trips - to change the situation ", - said Adgur Lushba. 

Following the meeting, were reached agreements on the return visit to Abkhazia by a business delegation and the journalistic press tour in Nizhny Novgorod region. And, as told Lushba, this morning it was announced that one of the representatives of commercial structures called Deputy Agriculture Minister Vladimir Daurov and reported that they already bought tickets to Abkhazia. Businessmen are ready to discuss the organization of the processing and delivery of agricultural products from the Republic to Nizhny Novgorod region.
