CCI of Abkhazia and Chuvashia signed a Cooperation Agreement

Bilateral meeting of Chambers of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Chuvashia with the participation of entrepreneurs was held in Sukhum.

Opening the meeting, President of the RA CCI Gennady Gaguliya stressed that Abkhazia attaches great importance to the further development of mutually beneficial trade, economic, scientific and technical relations and is committed to the development of direct trade and economic ties between economic entities of the two republics. "If we speak today about the relationship between Abkhazia and Chuvashia, unfortunately, we have one-way communication. The volume of imports of Chuvashia to Abkhazia is about 95 thousand dollars and the volume of exports from Abkhazia - zero! Therefore, we must make the effort to get mutual contacts ", - said Gaguliya.
 
 In turn, president of the Chamber of Commerce of the Chuvashia Republic Igor Kustarin noted that the delegation's visit is of familiarization character. "We have come to establish friendly relations and see how we can be helpful to each other, which contacts should be developed", - said Kustarin. At the same time, he noted that in Chuvashia, the focus is on the development of industry, agriculture and processing industries. "We have no minerals, the main resource are people. Therefore, we focus on our own strength, and in this we see the key to further successful development ", - said Kustarin.
 
 The guests presented the film about their country and made a presentation of the main achievements of the industries and enterprises of Chuvashia.
 
   The agreement on cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two republics was signed by President of the RA CCI Gennady Gaguliya and President of Chamber of Commerce of the Chuvashia Republic Igor Kustarin.
 
  There is scheduled meeting of the Chuvash delegation with Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya, and a visit to the Abkhazian enterprises.
