CEC of RA: at 15:00, voter turnout in Abkhazia was 43.29%

Repeated presidential elections are held in the Republic of Abkhazia.

Sukhum. March 22. Apsnypress. Secretary of the CEC Elena Labakhua informed on the election process.
 
 Labakhua cited statistics on the total number of voters:

“The number of voters who participated in the vote in the republic is 56,673, which is 43.29%.”  
 Also, Labakhua informed about the voting figures by region:
 - in Sukhum - 14,447 people, or 36.5%;
 - in Gagra district - 10 881, or 42.20%;
 - in Gudauta district - 11,067, or 47.46%;
 - in Sukhum district - 3 512, or 47.65%;
 - in Gulrypsh district - 5,819, or 47.92%;
 –In Ochamchira district - 7 722, or 48.94%;
 - in Tkuarchal district - 2,554, or 43.32%;
 - Gal district - 671, or 57.2%.
 
 Tamaz Gogiya, Chairman of the CEC, announced the progress of elections in foreign precincts at 15:00: 417 people voted in Moscow and 307 in Cherkessk.  

  At the same time, Gogiya noted that in the last presidential election, at 15:00 the turnout was 38.41%, which is approximately 5% less. Gogiya expressed confidence that the elections will take place.
