Charity exhibition-fair of souvenirs made by children with disabilities for the first time will be held in Abkhazia

On February 7, at 11:00 am at the Central Exhibition Hall of the Artists' Union of Abkhazia will be held Charity exibition-fair of the souvenirs made by children with disabilities, organized by the charitable foundation "Carmen".

Visitors will be able to purchase souvenirs of burnt clay made visually impaired children and young masters with dysmotility. Money raised from the sale of souvenirs go to the needs of industrial integration workshop, which involved children with disabilities.

As "AP" was told by the foundation president Xenia Rybakova, "Carmen" carried out its activities in Abkhazia in September 2013 and in November, thanks to the assistance of the Association "Inva-Promotion" (AIS) and Sukhum State Art College A. K. Chachba opened the first studio. The purpose of the action: physical and psychological rehabilitation and assistance in professional orientation of children with disabilities. This gives them the opportunity to feel needed, popular members of society.
