Charity Fund of the First President of the Republic of Abkhazia published declassified archives

Confidential materials of the Soviet archives about the background of the Abkhazian War of 1992-1993 are collected in a book of Daur Achugba "From the history of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict. Documents and materials".

Sukhum. August 11. Apsnypress. Dmitry Basariya. The book of Daur Achugba "From the history of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict. Documents and Materials" is published by the Charity Fund of the First President of the Republic of Abkhazia.
 
  About the history of the book told the Fund chairman Raisa Pogorelaya "Vladislav Ardzinba personally instructed Daur Achugba to write this book, gave him secret information, which he obtained from the Archive of the Institute of Marxism-Leninism. Due to lack of funding, we could not publish it before. The situation changed after the Abkhaz Parliament adopted a law "On perpetuation of the memory of Vladislav Ardzinba". The Fund of the First President of the Republic of Abkhazia continued to work on a budgetary basis. From now on, we got the right to spend budgetary funds for the publication of books, as well as to establish own archive".
 
 According Pogorelaya the foundation also published a book of Anzor Agumaa "Education of Abkhazia in the XIX - early XX centuries". It tells the story of the development of secular educational system in Abkhazia, first schools and teachers. Books published by the Abkhaz state publishing house, each in 500 copies. They also plan to publish books of Zurab Adzinba "Enchanted Abkhazia" and Anzor Agumaa "Old Sukhum" in the current year.
 
 (AP): The Fund of the First President of the Republic of Abkhazia was created by Vladislav Ardzinba in 2005 for the development of education, science and culture. During its activity it has published more than 50 books, posters and prints.
