Chirikba: We are closely following the situation in the NKR and look forward to a speedy resolution of the crisis

There was a telephone conversation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, Vyacheslav Chirikba and Foreign Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan.

Sukhum. April 8. Apsnypress. According to the Ministry, Vyacheslav Chirikba expressed concern about the crisis on the line of contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
 
 "I'm calling to express serious concern of the leadership, and people of Abkhazia on the current crisis. We express our sorrow and sincere condolences on the death of citizens, especially among the civilian population. We are closely following the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and hope for a speedy resolution of the current crisis ", - said Chirikba.
 
 The Minister expressed the hope that the ceasefire agreement of April 5th will be maintained, in order to avoid escalation of the conflict and new victims.
 
 In turn, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan thanked for support and said that at this stage the main objective - the preservation of "ceasefire" and the return of all troops to their places of deployment until 1 April 2016.
