In the House of Culture in Gagra named after T. Kokoskir, there was a meeting of the NGO fishing lovers "Azheipshaa" and residents with representatives of the State Committee on Ecology and Nature Protection and the Ministry of Agriculture.
The meeting was caused by dissatisfaction of citizens by Turkish seiners fishing in the waters of the town. The participants asked to release the Gagra zone on fisheries, justifying it by the fact that the process of catching violats necessary conditions and limits of the fishery.
Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Ecology and Nature Protection Sołomko Murman said that sounded requirement will be investigated for violations of the seiners, and the request will be considered.
