Raul Khadjimba congratulated the communists on the 94th anniversary of the establishment of Soviet power in Abkhazia and the 20th anniversary of the Communist Party of Abkhazia.

The message says:

"Dear communists, I heartily congratulate you on the 94th anniversary of the establishment of Soviet power in Abkhazia and the 20th anniversary of the Communist Party of Abkhazia.

For our people it is a significant date, as connected with it exemption from the occupation forces of Georgia and the proclamation of March 31, 1921 independent Soviet Socialist Republic of Abkhazia.

Thus, it was the beginning of the establishment of our statehood. We deeply honor the outstanding sons of our people, such as Nestor Lakoba, Ephraim Eshba and many others who fought for the bright future of their native Abkhazia, leaving a bright mark in our history.

Communist Party of Abkhazia is an active participant in all socio-political events and makes an important contribution to the life of our state. It includes well-known in Abkhazia and far beyond its borders intellectuals and politicians who have always served as an example of love for the country and its people.

Abkhaz leadership configured to cooperate with the Communist Party and other political forces in the country in order to strengthen our statehood and improve people's livelihood.
