Communist Party of Abkhazia was established 20 years ago

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia Valeriy Bganba sent a congratulatory address to the Chairman of the Communist Party of Abkhazia Lev Shamba.

The letter reads in part, that the basis of the oldest political party of the Republic of Abkhazia became the core of the Communists, who for many years in the ranks of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union worked to the benefit of the people, sought approval of genuine democracy and social justice.

Valeriy Bganba also stressed that the founders of the Communist Party of the Republic of Abkhazia were known and respected people. At the heart of their work is a huge political experience and a large public authority that had been used on the way to becoming a young Abkhazian state.

Speaker of the Parliament noted that the Communists of the Republic of Abkhazia contribute to the development of democracy in the process of formation of social and economic policy of our country, for the common benefit of developing our international contacts. "The Communist Party of the Republic of Abkhazia has always assisted the parliamentary work, many of its members were deputies of the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia and their constructive proposals actively influenced the legislative process", - said in greeting.

Referring to the Communists of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Parliament Speaker Valeriy Bganba expressed confidence that maintaining the good traditions and attracting to its ranks young, fresh forces, they will continue to contribute to the progressive movement of the country.
