Sukhum. May 20. Apsnypress. Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia, Alexander Ankvab, met with Minister of Taxes and Dues Daur Kurmaziya.
Minister presented Prime Minister data on tax revenues of the republic’s budget for the 18 days of May.
Considering that the accrual for April reached a critically low rate and amounted to 40% of the planned figure, the situation changed significantly in the first ten days of May.
Kurmaziya said that according to the situation of May 18, the plan for 5 months for all types of tax revenues was 91% complete. Currently, 209 million rubles have been received, with a plan of 189 million rubles.
At the same time, Minister noted that the overfulfillment in May was ensured by payment by taxpayers of accruals based on the results of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.
According to head of the tax department, the forecast for June is unfavorable, the actual revenues and their lag behind the plan may reach the lag in April.

Considering the task of supporting entrepreneurial activity as an important issue on agenda during a period of threat to economic security, Alexander Ankvab drew the Minister’s attention to the need to consider the possibility of refunding VAT payments to hoteliers who made advance payments without taking into account actual income when calculating value added tax.
