Defense Ministry of Abkhazia is transferred military property

Representatives of the defense departments of Abkhazia and Russia held a working meeting in Moscow.

Sukhum. August 21. Apsnypress. Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Of the Republic of Abkhazia - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Abkhazia Anatoly Khrulev and Deputy Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Fomin attended a working meeting in Moscow.

 During the talks, they discussed prospects for the development of Russian-Abkhaz military cooperation, topical issues related to functioning the Russian military base on the territory of Abkhazia and the creation of the United Group of Forces (Forces) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia.

 Also, they signed contract documents for the transfer of military property to the Abkhaz side. This work is carried out in accordance with the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on the Alliance and Strategic Partnership of November 24, 2014, providing modernization of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia.
